Biography Born in France, Isabelle studied fine art at L'ecole des Beaux Arts in Annecy. She arrived in NY in 1988 where she freelanced as a make-up artist and photographer assistant. Isabelle also studied portraiture and life painting at the Art Student League with Hillary Holmes (1993-1996). She worked with decorative artist Todd Arpin where she learn about the field (1997-2000). At the Pratt Institute, she studied the technical aspects of trompe l'oeil moulding (2000). Isabelle perfected new techniques and knowledge of new materials at the Finishing School with murals and decorative artist master Sean Crosby; decorative painting master Bob Marx and; decorative artist master Carolyne Woldenberg. She believes one should keep up-to-date and learning is a big part of transforming oneself to higher grounds. Isabelle has worked on commercial and residential spaces in and around the NY area since 1993.
